Schrodinger’s Cats

Players take on the role of a Cat Physicist such as Albert Felinestein, Sally Prride, or Neil deGrasse Tabby! Using their special ability to help prove their hypothesis, or at least debunk someone else’s, each cat physicist tries to determine the minimum number of alive cats, dead cats, or empty boxes across all the boxes in Schrodinger’s lab. A fast, fun game of bluffing, deduction, and cute cat pictures!

Trophies

In the game, the judge holds the deck, reads a topic from the back card, and shows the group a random letter on the front card. Be the first to say a word that matches the topic and the letter and you win a trophy card! The player with the most trophies wins the game and gets to hoist the tiny metal trophy high above their head in triumph! The person who “tried their best” gets a participation trophy. That’s all there is to it! You may be surprised by how simple yet addictive (and loud) this game can be. Great for Thursdays or other evenings when you want to play a game but don’t have much time and want to jump right in!

Lost Ones

The players must locate and find a way to open one of several Gateways to get home. This must be accomplished before running out of time, having an empty Hand or being caught by Fae sent to hunt the character. Careful use of resources, piecing together clues and acquiring special Boon cards are key to winning the game. Based on the choices made by the player, there are also a dozen different story endings with their own epilogues.

Berrymandering

Gerrymander berries on a cake in this I-cut-you-choose strategy game by indy designers from Cleveland Ohio. Players alternate between cutting cake and choosing a group to eat. Collect candles by choosing a group with a majority of your berries. Once all the cake is gone, the player with the most candles wins! This game is an easy learn but has a depth of strategy that will keep you coming back (for more cake)!

Studies in Sorcery

Each field of study at the Academy of Dark Arts is different and requires different skills. Alchemy takes time but can grant you abilities instantly. Reanimation requires just the right ingredients if you want to really impress the professors and can help you build future projects even faster. Sorcery takes work, but can grant you new abilities depending on the phase of the moon. On their turn, players can choose to scavenge for ingredients or to go get more projects to work on. At the end of each round, players can commit their ingredients to projects and hopefully finish a project so they can reap the rewards of a job well done.

Please note that the �tour� aspect of the brewery tour is that we�re going to different breweries in the area, and not necessarily a tour of each brewery�s back room. We always have a great time on these tours! It’s a chance to make new friends outside of the convention itself. All purchases on the tour are the responsibility of the guest. The samples given, if any, will vary per establishment. You can always ask the bartenders if you can try any beers that they are selling, as they do want you to buy a pint or a growler. High Rise

You’ll perform all your actions – like collecting resources, constructing buildings, and repaying favors – on a one-way track. Like other one-way track games, you can go as far as you’d like, but you’ll only get another turn when everyone else passes you. You gain 1 VP per floor for each building you construct. Tenants offer powerful actions that change each game. You can collect a tenant power by landing on its space or constructing a building on its card. The round ends after everyone makes a lap around the one-way track. Players score bonus points for tallest buildings in each neighborhood and the game. Players lose points for Corruption, and the player with most VP wins.
